The UCI on Friday revealed its list of teams meeting criteria for registration in the sport’s top two divisions on the road. Cycling’s world governing body confirmed French team Europcar’s intentions to join the first-division WorldTour. Eighteen teams are vying for 18 ProTeam licenses for 2014.
Each of the teams confirmed by the UCI have filed sponsor contracts, a bank guarantee, and, for new teams, a description of the management structure and a deed of incorporation for the paying agent.
